40,000 foot view is the second EP by mmrycycls, continuing a slow inward exploration of identity, dissolution, and what remains beneath surface structure.
The music draws from journal fragments written after guided ketamine therapy sessions, translating themes of ego softening and memory blur into sound through gradual harmonic movement, decayed textures, and restrained melodic repetition. Rather than dramatizing altered states, the focus is on what lingers afterward: quiet clarity, emotional residue, and the simplicity that can emerge when excess is stripped away.
Designed for focused, headphone listening. Best experienced without distraction.
